Guild Rules

In order to make the game fun for everyone, <DBC> has some ground rules we expect everyone to follow.

Be considerate of the other players you share gchat with:

No asking for money in gchat.
No insulting other guildies. No racial slurs, name calling, etc.
Keep gchat away from volatile topics, like race, politics, religion.
No extreme pointless vulgarity.
Limit endless off topic off game babbling.
If an officer tells you to drop it or change the subject OBEY immediately. Do not try to get in the last word.

Don't be annoying:

NEVER EVER EVER ask for money in a whisper from a guildie.
Do not ask for runs in a whisper either - you can ask in gchat, or better yet, show up to lowbie night.

If someone breaks one of these rules, report them immediately please! We will never know otherwise, and you are likely not the only guildie being pestered.

Don't be a mooch:

Feel free to take stuff from the guild bank, but leave some approved donations in return.

Approved Guild Bank Donations

Don't be a loot ninja:

Need if the item is significantly better than what you possess, and can be used by the character you are currently playing.
Never need for a profession unless you first clear it with party members.
Know what stats you need, and what stats you don't need.
Don't need on gear that is below your armor type, unless no one else needs it and you clear it with party members.
Main (Current) spec takes priority over offspec.
If two people need an item, and you lose, be gracious. No one likes grouping with a troll.

Keep raiding fun:

Feel free to screw around, but NEVER cause wipes.
Do your homework. Watch the videos, read up on the fight if you've never done it before.

Don't keep /gquitting repeatedly:

Second invite to the guild, you'll have to rank up all over again.
Third invite, get a note that says "gquitter - (date)" and stay "Newbie" for 1 month.
If you gquit from the Raiding Guild, don't expect an invite back.
If you /gquit as a joke and come back immediately these rules probably don't apply.

Be Active:

"Newbies" (DBC) or "Recruits" (BS) get removed after 1 month of inactivity.
All other ranks get removed after 2 months of inactivity.

To get around this, know when you will be back and ask an officer to make a note in your player note.

If you do get removed for inactivity, once you start playing that toon again, you can always come back! Just ask, or apply online:
