Q: How do I get a guild tabard?
A: There are usually guild tabards in the newbie tab of the guild bank. You can also purchase them from Tabard Vendors in major WoW cities. List of NPC's here.
Q: How to I rank up to <rank>?
A: Ranking Info. Read it!
Q: Can my friend join the guild?
A: Usually yes. Only exception is if the person has been booted from the guild for some reason or other. Officers and Elders can invite, or you can have them apply here.
Q: Is there a level requirement to join Death By Chocolate?
A: We recruit level 20+ only. Guildie alts of any level are also welcome.
Q: Can my alt join the guild?
A: Yes, of course!
Q: Why does gchat look like the photo below?
A: Because you don't have Guild2Guild! Death by Chocolate is actually an alliance of guilds, and we use an addon called Guild2Guild to combine their chats. If you don't have the mod, then someone who has the mod will relay the other guilds chat to you. In the pic above, I am relaying chat by Goonsmerk and Graylic, members of The Smash Clan.
Q: How do I register at the website?
A: View the forum. Beneath the banner image at top is a "register" link. Click it. Be sure to register with your character name on the game so I can link you to the roster! If you have a main and alts in the guild, register with your main, message me which ones are your alts so I can link them.
Q: Can I have 5 gold?
A: No! Don't laugh, we've had people ask this on guild chat several times. The guild is here to help with quests, instances, etc. We can advise you on how to make money, and if you rank up we'll even help with trade goods for your profession, but we don't do handouts. No begging for money on the guild chat please.
Q: Can the things I donate on my main count toward my alt making rank?
A: Yes, if you are actually donating enough things to count toward more than one player. Message me or mail me in game from your main and give me the name of the alt you want promoted.
Q: Can I get a run thru (insert instance name here)?
A: Probably not. We regularly schedule lowbie instance run nights, where we make time to run all of you thru the instances you need. Expecting us to drop what we are doing and run you on your time schedule when we make that much effort to help is NOT considerate, and doesn't make us want to help you.
